An exhibition of treasures from the William Heath Robinson Trust collection will be held at Bloomsbury Auctions from Wednesday 11th to Tuesday 17th April 2012. The exhibition will have examples of his illustration, humorous work and watercolours and will include eight pictures never exhibited before, a recent and very generous gift.

The Trust has been working for several years to establish a museum that will be a national and international centre for the understanding and appreciation of the life and work of William Heath Robinson and for the development of the wider study of illustration as an art form.

We are about to embark on a 15-month development process to establish a new museum and gallery at West House in Pinner, by the end of which we shall need to have secured £400,000 of matching funding. This exhibition marks the start of that fund-raising process.
